ORC Workbench

The Workbench is designed to facilitate the identification of an online seller as a suspect by probing deeper into layers of evidence:

  1. Identify losses using the following criteria:
    • Circular geographical region around a center-point (usually a store) using a distance
    • Category of loss (Electronics, Books, etc.)
    • Price Range
    • Feedback of seller
  2. Identify a seller and the items he has sold.
  3. Capture historical sales into a case.
  4. Analyze historical sales reports.
  5. Build the case using ORC Solutions partners, or build the case yourself.
  6. Identify the seller using a provided online marketplace mechanism or in collaboration with law enforcement, facilitated by the Workbench.
  7. Capture images and data from social networking sites and court records.
  8. Finalize and print the case for the suspect interview and/or court records.

New features on the way....!

  • New seller analysis forensics help uncover sellers listing from muliple locations and what percent that is of their overall location profile.
  • Free-shipping profile seller analysis chart
  • Strike (remove) auctions when supported by an online marketplace
  • Coordinate investigations within a company using CaseWatch™, a visual cue and report that indicates another investigator has an open case on this seller
  • Create a list that blocks known legitimate sellers (or for any reason), and automatically share it with other investigators. The Workbench automatically coordinates the lists by letting you know when there are new sellers on their lists you may want to block from your results.
